Just came across this article and thought I'd share.. www.whiotv.com/news/25357946/detail.htmlHow lame. They already have established quite a name for themselves and I assume make plenty of money, so why the need to go after the little guys? I for one will no longer be supporting this establishment and hope others consider the same.

Hello to everyone. My name is Randy Bowling and I am the owner of the Dark Pumpkin Haunted Trail in Germantown Ohio. I just wanted to let everyone know that I appreciate all the support that I have received via email over the past couple of days. It is an odd feeling when a company as large as LOI, a company that spends tens of thousands on advertising does something like that. My advertising budget this year was about $1000 which included flyers and an ad on one radio station for a couple weeks. Then of course my signs. Signs are a big part of this business, ask LOI. Even though they put all that money into advertising you will see bigger LOI road signs then any other haunt. What do I want out of this? Simply for this to stop. I love what I do. I love entertaining people, and I would love to do it for years to come. I've had plenty of signs stolen in the past but nothing to the extent of that night, and then to catch the person doing it. WOW! Trust me guys, even I couldn't believe it. This should be known. There was no misunderstanding about what happened that night. LOI had not yet posted a sign on that post. The man started ripping down MY sign, and the only reason he stopped was because I came running at him. I was within 2 ft of that truck and I know what I saw. Thanks again for all the support. I hope everyone has a good season... signs or no signs

It's a real shame that some haunts have to resort to this. If more haunts would just work together everyone would benefit from it including the customers.
